Pfas, or forever chemicals did not exist before 1940 and today they are present in every drop of surface water and rain that falls to the earth.
So what? you say. Well PFAS or “forever chemicals” as they are know are unique in that when you ingest them they do not all leave. they “bioaccumulate” in your blood, tissues and organs. So while some of the levels are very low, over a persons lifetime they accumulate and have consequences.
For the adults in the room, your fate is set. But if you have children or are a woman of child bearing age you can act now to significantly reduce the risks to the next generation.
So Save the Children. The first step is to remove ALL PFAS and endocrine disruptors from your drinking water. Conventional water treatment plants in cities and towns DO NOT remove it. There only 3 methods to remove these contaminants. Ion exchange, Activated carbon filtration and Reverse osmosis.
I recommend reverse osmosis for your drinking water. I use the system offered below. There are many but I have installed this one for my children and grandchildren and it is very easy to install, operate and maintain. I put the “remineralization” stage on to restore the natural minerals that are removed as part of the process. Reverse osmosis takes everything that’s not water out of the equation.
